The list will be curated through a meticulous selection process to find the individuals embodying the talent, potential, and skillsets of Africa's youth. FORBES AFRICA’s editorial research team will vet the applicants, alongside an expert panel of external judges and a knowledge partner, scrutinizing the submissions to shortlist the top 30 candidates.
To be eligible for consideration, nominees must choose from the categories relevant to them: business, technology, sport, creativity, and health/science. In the business or technology category, nominees must be entrepreneurs or founders of successful companies employing Africans. For all categories, nominees must be aged 29 or younger as of March 31, 2024, and must be from or based in Africa. They need to have a proven track record of no less than two years. Significant earnings, as an individual or business, are also a key criterion, as those selected must speak to Africa's growth story.
